OK, this week, I am exporting ‘Rapture‘ to a new hosting service, Word Press.org., which will give me a little more flexibility in terms of what I can do with it, as well as make it look more professional.

It can be a complex procedure, but luckily, my web hosting service has good technical support and does most of the ‘grunt work’ automatically, so, mercifully, I don’t have to set up SQL databases and other scary things.

However, like anything else, involving human beings [and especially software ], there’s the chance something will go wrong.

If you don’t get any entries for two weeks or so, let me know, as I rarely go that long without diving–you’ll know something is wrong.

Actually, the good news is, while quite a bit more work will be involved, it won’t actually replace the one you see here, until it’s completely ready to go.
