My name is Albert Baranes and I am a researcher at the Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences, in Eilat.

I am completing a book on Red Sea Sharks, to be published by the Israeli Academy of Sciences. This book will be the compilation of my research on sharks during the last 40 years. It is written in English and includes scientific material on the taxonomy, biology and ecology of sharks, meaning that the output will not be, for sure, a commercial book, its distribution being probably limited to marine biologists and libraries of museums.

The photographic material I collected myself is mostly in Black & White and underwater slides of poor resolution, of mostly dead specimen. Today, the web is rich in high quality pictures of all living sharks but most of them are copywriter and under so high fees that I cannot afford.
I just can promise to credit each picture to his photographer.

If you agree to allow me to use some of your photos on shark products
Thanking you in advance
